Sterling School

Teaching Methodliogy

  • The school academic year is from April to March, as per CBSE guidelines.
  • Examinations may not be the true test of a child's ability, but regular classroom tests and periodic assessment at the school level are indicative of scholastic and co-scholastic achievement. The results enable the teachers as well as students to reassess their orientation and take corrective measures, if required, to accord due attention to subjects and topics in which the child may need additional assistance.
  • Actually our school was using the Assessment of students , made on the basis of CCE inform of FA-1,FA-2,FA-3 & FA-4, scholastic and co- scholastic test in addition to this SA-1& SA-2 examination used to conducted September & March every year. But now this time for junior sections we use to use periodic and term exam pattern and for senior students we use internal and external patterns as per CBSE guidance.
  • Unit tests would be conducted as part of the Continuous Class Assessment in each term. In order to lessen the burden of maintaining too many copies of different subjects, we provide a series of review exercises (Assignment, Worksheets) which are set after the completion of each unit in a specific subject.
  • These exercises enable the teacher as well as the student to assess their degrees of success in teaching and learning of particular concepts. All tests and exercises are planned so that they test the understanding and application skills of the student.
Quality of Teachers

Our members of the teaching staff are chosen not only for their own intellectual skills but also for their ability and enthusiasm in communicating them to boys and girls of all ages. The teachers are well supported by several technicians and other ancillary and administrative staff. Teachers are encouraged to be flexible and individual in their approach.

Career Orientation

The schools prepare students for the future with career orientation and career counseling to select their career and help to prepare foundation for various competitions as they are likely to face ahead in their life.

Spacious Class Rooms with standardized infrastructure

The number of students in each class is restricted as per CBSE guidelines so that the teachers can give individual attention to each and every student.
